Your Favorite Spoiler
I voted "You're a riceboy." 'cuz that's hilarious. haha. If you have another car (i.e. beater), get the Mugen spoiler. I think Ragin Angel had one for sale a few weeks ago... you be a bit cheaper than tapping King.
Hey, it's all good!
It's just that I recently went on a lapping day, and there was this CW 1998 ITR that was killing the faster cars in his group. Porsches, M3s, Vettes. He was passing most of them, and the rest couldn't pull away from him. And after each session, there was a large gathering of drivers around him, to see what he's got. All he had was the Mugen Damper Kit, Comptech header, and Hoosiers. Plus he had the Mugen Spoiler, which looked really awesome. That's why I was seriously considering getting it.
As for the driver, he was pretty cool. His car was mostly stripped, and good driver + improved suspension was the reason why he was kicking butt.

Mugen dampers, that'll do it!, the standard spoiler is a pain in the *** if you have a cop behind you, but i doubt that much down force is generated by it or the Mugen one unless you are really travelling.
Thanks for all the responses, you have spoken and I'll listen. That $600 I will use for another set of Advans when my current one is all used up. Stock spoiler it is.
PS Dammit, I am not a riceboy!

I'm planning to loose my spoiler next spring when I go 96R for the nose, but what parts does one need for a 3rd brake light retrofit? I'm not gonna take chances driving without one because of all these MASShole drivers.
the ricer trend is to take off your wing..hahahaha
it just makes it look like a stock ls model etc.....wingless.....who the hell thought of this trend??????
maybe next trend will be bumperless or hoodless......for that "sleeper" look right ? lol......might as well turn your stock rims to steelies ......pppppfffff.....
by the way....new style MUGEN wing all the way or stock or c-west gt wing....just not wingless

huhuhu
sleeper is okay...but if u wannabe a sleeper, you have to go all out to be one, ie. 4lug conversion, side moldings, no frontlip/wing/red badges/type-r stick
5lug steel wheels still wont do the job.

I voted for Mugen cause I think it looks better then the stock spoiler, although the stock spoiler is VERY nice
but I also like wingless very much... it doesnt matter if it has a spoiler or not, its still a Type-R!
but I hate when ppl put some gigantic WW kits, and 3-4 subwoofers, altezza´s and stuff like that, that take´s the essence away from the R....
a pic from ff-squad.com,

a pic from ff-squad.com,

If you are going to be doing track driving - I definitely recommend the Mugen spoiler. It has a very noticeable effect on the car when set at maximum attack angle. Rearward vision is also greatly improved. That was my one beef with the stock spoiler - it blocks your view quite substantially. It's a direct bolt on to the stock mounting locations, and it's the only wing I know of that has actually been tested and designed using a wind tunnel. Definitely worth the $$
