It could be that the injectors you got the civic from where bad also..try resetting the ecu again...goodluck

i threw this code for about 4 months....tried everything listed....finally one day....all the injectors stuck open or at least that is what i thought....ended up being FPR!
The injectors worked fine in thee car they were just in.
Also, i thought i had gotten rid of the iac valve code when i replaced it with one i bought from curex and the new harness. Now it just came back after resetting the ecu. What the heck i replaced the iac valve 3 times. Still never got rid of the code. Then i repalced the harness thinkin it may be faulty. What the heck.
Edit, its the third injector over from the dist side. Same one that wasnt working with the old harness and old set, it cant be the injectors because when i switch say 2 and 3 injectors still plugging them in order. the 3rd one still doesnt work. As in its the wiring harness, but i replaced it and its still that one. Fuses for individual ones?

Ok i replaced full harness, injectors 3 times, map sensor 2 times.
I replaced my ecu with a chipped p28 from my old motor. It doesnt throw any codes except map sensor, even after i replaced the map sensor. I now know my dx ecu is defective somehow.
Now my iac valve is fixed, but still the third injector wire, no mattre what injector i plug it into does not fire the injector. I know the harness is good. It happened with the old harness too.
Could it be the wiring going into the plugs from the ecu. What wires are the injector wires?
Spade help me out dude im stumped.
2 harnesses, 3 sets of injectors, 2 dist, 2 map sensors, 2 ecus. After all that i still have a code 3 and the 3rd injector wire is not giving power to the injectors.

sounds liek a harness problem....you said you replced the harness before-just the motor harness or the ECU harness too?make sure the pins at both the shock tower plugs and ECU plugs are properly inserted and aren't broken or damaged.might wanna get a multimeter and check for continuity from the ECU pin all the way to the injector pin.this will easily tell you if there's a problem somwhere in the harness.

FIGURED IT OUT well most of it, there was a screwup in the wireharness, not the engine harness, but where it goes inot the ecu the injector one was somehow very loose where it went into the plug. The map sensor was cut farther up in under the dash, i domnt know how it loked liek ti was rubbing agaisnt somethign and fianlly went through. Really odd.
Well now the iac valve code came back, at idle it surges upo and down up and down then eventually almost dies and soemtimes does die. When i unplug it the idle is fine but at like 1400 or something while ur like giving it 2% throttle and try to keep it at 1400 or so then it starts to like jump really fast. But i dont get it, the original iac did this, then i got one froma junkyard, still did it, then i got it from a friends old motor that i took out and the iac was fine when it was in his car, then i just bought this last one from curex on here (same guy i bought hte harness and map from) and it is still doing the same thing, but no other codes are gettign thrown just that one. Tomm ill check and make sure the wires are actually live. BTW the secondary one is bypassed that was the second thing i tried after i repolaced the iac for the second time, made no difference.

are you running a chipped p28 or a vafc/Fields vtec controller?
i threw the same code. it ended up being the chip in the computer. i removed the chip and popped in a different program. all better. i was running the first chip for awhile though, then all of a sudden it got real cold over here and i'm throwing code 16's. Also some vtec controllers are known to throw a code 16 somehow.

oops i see you already found the problem...oh well. just trying to help

No i didnt, i just have it unplugged right now, i bought a iac from curex, didnt help, i got one from my friend and it worked fine on his motor before he did his swap, didnt work, so im starting to think its something to do with wiring from engine harness to ecu. I also changed ecus and it didnt help.

OK i dont know how or why, but i fixed it.
My car, my friends 94ex with a ls motor and iac valve code also and the same problems and symptoms as me, and his twin brother with a 94 integra ls running perfect no codes nothing.
Take the integra iac off, put it on my car, and put mine on his.
His car runs perfect, my car runs perfect.
Put an iac valve that i had first put on my car to try to remedy the problem and it didnt fix it on the 94civic with ls motor and his runs perfect now.
WTF?!?! After replacing mine 3 times it didnt work and now for some reason it does.
Why would the one i had on my car NOT work properly on my car but work perfect on the integra?
Wierd but whatever....i predict it starting to **** up by tommorow.
