Carbon Fiber sunroof plug?
Well, ive been searching for the past couple weeks, and all i can come up with is the one plug that has the screws visible through the top. That ones for sale on a couple websites, but i remember a while back that someone had made one that didnt require screwing into from the top, it just riveted into the sides, it looked alot cleaner, but now i cant find that post. He had them for sale, and now i want one, and one have any idea what happened to that post? THanx.
that ones nice, but i though someone did a cf one just like that, he was gonna make a plug, and oen that was still functional. I want one so bad, i think the carbon fiber would add a nice touch.
Thats not even for crx, im needing the one who did it on a crx, thats close, but that guys charhing waaaay to much. This guy was sellign his for around 200, maybe a little more, sorry to be a pain, but when i searched, i found nothing, but i knwo i saw it on here.
i've seen doctor cortez' work up close and personal. its pritty darn good. plus i think he has a mold for crx sunroof plug, so he could make it up and ship it out to ya. my 0.02

Yeah, but he was saying he needed at least 3 people to make them for, and he's damn pricey. I might just ahve to go with the fiberglass one.

Oh, and its not the raceplates one, like i said in my original post, i want the one that DOESNT have the screws visible throught the top. Its basically just like the fiberglass one, but made outta cf.

dont use the screws that come in the kit... just use stainless steel pop rivets!
or get this bling bling expensive kit:

oh, thats the one im trying to avoid, it uses screwes to hold down the panal onto teh brackets which are rivited in place. I just dont want the screws to be seen, but the painting them idea is good. this guy came on here and posted his cf panel, it fits nicely, and would rivit into the sides, it wasnt just a flat panel, it had sides that went down into the roof. He posted his price would be 250 per plug. I wish i would have gotten one then, cause now i cant find them.
We use aluminum drive rivets to bolt the custom brackets underneath the panel. They are not visible after install. The good part is you don't need a rivet gun, just pund the back with a hammer. The brackets are all pre-punched. As far as the screws being visible on top, they are all coated black stainless steel now and they are countersunk anyway so you can barely see them. They are flush with the panel. See this prelude model:
