Please recommend good body shop in DC Metro area
Please recommend a good body shop in DC Metro area, preferably in or close to Montgomery County MD.
I don't know anyone that's ever been happy with paint work around here no matter how minor. There's always some orange peel or something.
I have a small patch of rust where the passenger side rear wheel well meets the quarter panel that I'd like to get fixed.
Thanks for advice.

Don't live in DC so I can't help you. BUT...the "Appearance/Cosmetic" guys might just know a place. They're obviously very interested in getting a high quality paint job when the time comes for it - so if anyone in here would know, it might be them.
Just a thought.

Well if money isn't an object, you can go to WagonWorks in Arlington. On stuff like this, you pay for what you get! They've done my F/E conversion, along with 2 others and I've recommend tons of guys there and have had nothing but thanks. They specialize in high end german cars, and have seen a lot of TYPE-R's!
If you go tell them I sent ya!!
Thanks,

I was staying out of this thread until I saw that Ross had posted. It wouldn't have surprised me at all if he were very well acqauinted with several body shops in the area!!

Yeah that's funny and all, but can someone please recommend a shop willing to do some quality work on a little bit of rust?
Tommy's Auto Body on Kirby Rd. in Clinton, MD is GREAT. I just got my GS400 Lex back from there yesterday and have been to them for a lot of stuff on many diff. cars.Prices reasonable, but don't expect Earl Scheib (sp?) prices and get any decent work. You will have to call 411 on the phone # or I can get it to you later on...
