If you have a re-usable K+N filter .. then you can purchase a recharge kit in many stores which includes cleaning solution and KN filter oil --- so you can re-oil the filter ... its very easy

depends on the filter.
on my greddy kit
i took apart the filter and soaked the filter element in soapy water and kept wringing it out and then let it dry
on K&N filters u can get a recharging kit that cleans them well

It's not K&N, but it looks similar. I can't remember the brand off-hand, but it came with my DRAG kit. So I can just use soapy water? Where do you get that oil dressing?

I used the K&N **** from my local auto parts store. The cleaner and filter charger (oil) was like 9 bucks I think.

i wouldn't think that'd be necessary, unless you're doing rallying or something offroad. The idea of a 'harsh environment' air filter oil makes me think it'd be more restrictive on the air intake than a regular oil. i've never heard of the stuff though, it's interesting. why would you want to use that?
