what is the maximum spring rates koni reds can handle? can koni red's be revalved to dampen a higher spring rate?

Generally if we offer both red Classic and yellow Sport shocks for the same car, the red is going to be more of a "comfort with performacne" feel vs. the yellow "sportier performance" feel. As a generality the upper half to 2/3s of the red valving adjustment range may likely overlap the lower half to 2/3s of the yellow shock range but there are so many differences between cars and owners that you just can't always say. If the car is to stay pretty stock or have minor mods but you want to wake it back up nicely, then go for the reds. If the car is going to be driven pretty aggressively or get more mods, may as well step up to the Sports to start. If you are going to do the mods but you need to go with the reds because you really don't have the money and need the lower price point, then you are still getting a damned good unit and warranty even if this set-up may not win LeMans this year. Your car will still be much better off than you were or with many other choices.
