My 6th Break in(sort of), in 3 years. First one for the new teg though. I have a set of si wheels I can put on but I need to get tires for them, what do you guys suggest for a good all season tire? You guys can call me Fred Flinstone from now on

what did you have that got snagged so people in your area could have a lookout.

oh yeah, about the stolen wheels, dont think because ur in buffalo dat u are safe, my neighbor (sort of) got his si wheels stolen right outside his house and we live in Amherst, supposely the safest neighborhood...go figure..

I heard of a theft deterrent system once that put out like some 2000 volts to your exterior, but no amps, so it won't kill anyone but will sure shock the **** out them. Amps are what kills you when you get electrocuted not volts. I am pretty sure that this is illegal but I would look into it.

They were 17 inch team loco's (ssr competion knock offs). They were gunmetal with a polished lip and had yokohama paradas. If anyony see's them on the web for sale let me know. Look what they did to the front bumper
Progressive came and quoted me a 100. dollars th fix the the body work. I was like the work just to repaint the front bumper would cost more than that never mind the side skirt.

 

welcome to the club!!!! same **** happened to me.... my insurance hooked me up with $2600 for my stock GSR rims . that's not bad.

did you have wheel locks?

 

I had gorilla locks and mgard locks.

 

Had a little deja-vu for a sec there.... Yesterday at work, a co-worker and I were outside and noticed a black integra (SE/GSR/GS) in a private lot behind us. I thought it was your car, since your from the northeast and all, but it was sitting ontop of a tire instead of a part of a tree.

 

How do these ****'s steal your wheels even though you had two sets of different wheel locks?

Do they come with some kind of power tool like jackhammer(?) and just drill through those wheel locks?

Or did they happen to have the key for the wheel locks?

 

they make wheel lock kits now... that cna take off any set of locks. its like 60$, not bad considering he probably made hundreds of thsoe wheels.
