it would be better to get a mass of pople interested and take it to a company that makes them mugen, spoon, typer lips for eg and dc to make some them for ef... i have no idea why they dont make them... they would sell really good..
i dont think its worth getin a 250-300 dollar lip if your car is not a show car... most efs now are daily drivers .. just my 2 pennies

just rock the accord lip, you can barley see it in this pic, but if someone blew it up, im sure you could see it better. i like this lip, cause my car scrapes every now and then, and when i scratch(sp??) it, its not that big of a deal.

yeah...home depot lip...cuz i want my car to look like the landscaping at a trailer park.
versusmotorsports.com sells the chargespeed lip. it's a knockoff of the j's. the j's lip doesn't hang as low as alot of people think and looks really clean. especially if you have the si-r front end.
that roadracegear one is pretty nice especially the splitter version if you club race. my car is a daily driver though so i rock the j's knockoff.

the road race gear lip sits too low for a street car. About 3-4inch ground clearance for the crx in the picture. but the great thing about it, it can be repaired with just a hammer if it ever gets dented.
Hybrid Hatchback...
Sorry I'm late to the party. I'm normally in the RR/AX forum.
I'd be happy to work out a group buy with the CRX/ EF group.
As others stated, A-D's are not for everyone. However, I have quite a few A-D's running around on the street and at car shows. I simply make size adjustments to accommodate their particular needs.
The RRG.com Air-dam is as far from a "Home Depot garden lip" as one can get!
Thanks again for the post and feel free to contact me.

Hi crxgator,
I understand your concerns. Digital pics and web-site photos don't do justice to the units we produce. Frankly, I'm not knowledgeable of the J's lip you speak of.
Here is some additional info.
A-D cost for a 88-89 CRX RRG.com A-D: $245.00
Our units are built from new Honda chin spoilers (or Lips). A typical 88-89 CRX Si Honda lip (part number 71110-SH2-000) cost $71.12. This Honda lip is the starting point of the RRG.com Air-dam. Then we use a 8 Foot sheet metal break to bend 6X8' sheets of high gloss aluminum to the desired width.
At that point, we still have about 4 hours of construction to finish the Air-dam.
Our Air-dams are quite effective and produce a great amount of downforce and high speed stability. We have customers that are SCCA pro-drivers, SCCA & NASA national winners, multiple car show winners and 4 of 5 2003 Honda-Challenge class champions. Our race/ car show results speak for themselves.
Again, thanks for your interest.

alright, they sound good and i guess it does help to have many people using them for racing purposes which was their intent...maybe its just the pics arent doing it enough justice...that is what i was basing my opinion on...
Where does it anchor too. I would not want to be pulling 100+ on the straights and come in and one session just to find the bumper falling off because the "down-force" is pushing so hard that it kills screws.
If the air dam is just attached to the lip will that come off with little or no effort.
Just asking a question.

The RRG.com bolts directly to your cars bumper cover. We use all the stock 10mm bolts and stock Honda J-clips.
No bumper cover has EVER failed using our Air-dam. We have had Integra Type R's, GSR's and VTEC Preludes at way over 140ish and no problems. There should NEVER be a problem with a 120HP CRX!
My Honda-Challenge H1 ITR powered 92 Hatchback is extremely fast and never had a problem. I figure 140ish in 5th gear at VIR and Summit Point. Try that with Home depot lawn edging.
I can't speak to the quality of the photos. The RRG.com driver's send them when they can... this is where all our photos come from.

The RRG.com lip also probably wouldnt be the best for daily driving, as it is sheet metal, it does bend and dent VERY easily, i am thinking about pickin up my buddies RRG splitter but i have to work on it a bit to make it look new again.
