Hi guys, I have a question for ATL soloII racers. (SPiFF, roadracer, Neo, etc)

What day are you guys running your cars? I want to get some help from experienced drivers, if possible. (sit through the course with me, or even pilot my car for me once.) Thanks guys.

BTW, I have a G3 Integra. Will be running novice throught the end of this year.

 

If the Kumhos hold up, I will run both days. Saturday DSP runs in the morning, Sunday in the afternoon.

I'll be there also, white type r #81 running whenever GS runs. (I didn't check the exact times yet.)

Alex - is your ITR lowered? Didn't you have a pony tail?

Zsolt - is your car used for daily driving?

 

Nah, the Type R has always been as it came from the factory. It's a GS car afterall !

And I never had a pony tail.. haha. Look for a white '98 ITR with a guy always checking out the tires. That would be me as I am curious how the my new 205s will do in autox and in chasing down a yellow lexus. see ya there.

 

Nop. Track (and now AutoX) only. Though there is nothing done to the car that would not allow it to be dailey driven.

 

Alex, I've admired your driving this year. Your car looks completely effortless going through the course. I have a new RSX-S that I've just started autocrossing. I'll be out there this weekend looking to pick up pointers.

 

Hey Cosworth: I plan on being there for Saturday only, because the last time they had back-to-back (Sat-Sun) events I was told that they had about half the usual # of Sun. participants on Sat. (which means they had about 80 people on Sat. compared to the usual 160+ on Sun.) Which means that they got done much earlier than usual and had time for fun runs (and that would never happen on a Sunday). I compete in STS which is in the Orange group and is scheduled to be the last run group of the day. I'll probably get there some time around mid a.m. As far as getting help from experienced drivers, you'd be wise to hook up with Hracer (Alex), RoadRacer (Scott), and SPiFF (Zsolt), because I'm in my rookie season too. And even though I trophied once earlier this year in the novice class and now have to compete in STS, I still have a long way to go so I might do you more harm than good Oh yeah, Madhatter (Chris) would be another good person to hook up with (eventually) but he won't be there this weekend.
