Wow whoever has these cars must really hate the civic:
EG3 D13B JDM All 3-door/4-door
EG7 D13B JDM All 3-door/4-door
And the EG5 has a DOHC ZC and the interior is similar to the US hatchback interior except the rear seats have small headrests that protrude out of the top of the backs, and also they have those dual gathers speakers for the rears...the ones you see on ebay that fit our US interiors. Other models might have the same speakers, but for sure the EG5 has it.

I don't think Del Sol's are considered to be in the 6th Gen. Civic line-up.
When I think of generation changes (5th to 6th), I think of physical chassis changes / completely redesigned car representing the new model.
And the Del Sol, even though was still made after 1995, the chassis remained the same. It wasn't totally redesigned.
Just my $.02

Re: (Navid OG)
looks like only Del Sol's are 96 EG's....its not hard, look at the name of the car, find the doors and motor, then Boom look at your Acronym (sp)

3-door is a hatchback and 2-door is a coupe. So your bud has a EJ1. SI is the canadian version or the US EX.
Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
