Im looking in to getting an exhaust for my soon to be all motor hatch. i have a gsr engine in it. it will stay at the stock 1.8L im gonna get 200 hp or more out of it. which would be a better exhaust for all motor. they are both a straight through design but i dont know. someone help me out. give me your opinion. or is there a better one out there for around the same price. thanks

I have the N1 exhuast with test pipe and comptech 4-2-1 header, damn is it loud but I love it!!!

i was gonna get the same exact setup. how do you like the gains you got. do you like the header

I love it...keep in mind that its on a a lil DOHC ZC but I love it , openned up the car very much so!!

the 4-2-1 (1 piece design) is great, light as **** too.......I so want to ditch my apex n1 for that BUDDY CLUB!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!

personaly I have a apexi N1 and have no regrets about the sound in high or low RPM. its a great looking and sounding. So the Apexi get my vote.

ok well thats the one i am looking at. i know SMSP and all that bullshit but i dont have the money. and comptech seems like an affordable alternative.

Do you realize how many exhaust threads there are.
Yet people still post comparsions...search in archived topics you will even find sound clips....errr

but there are different cases. i want to know the differences between the two. there is nothing out there comparing these two exhausts. i want to know because ive decided on one of these two. ive heard sound clips and dont give a **** how they sound. i care how they perform.

The Buddy Club has better build quality. It will be louder due to the thin-wall tubing it uses though.

If you're wanting 200whp you should be looking at something 2.5" though.

Crock of ****...theres over 50 threads in this forum about exhausts and them being tested (dyno tested) and having exhausts compared..but no you didnt even bother searching just figure ahh ill post a new one...

Does BC spec III hang as low as Apexi N1?? also what are the price for each of them??

i found the spec III for like 550 and the apexi for like 500

Whenever i get the money and feel like it, im going to make a custom exaust with 22" resonator, 1 bend and a magnaflow 2.5" in/out straight thru canister. If i really feel like it, ill dyno open header and with it bolted up, probably will be extremely minimal difference or none at all

also will this be a bolt on exhaust. im getting the comptech header for a b18c1 obviously and the spec III for a 92-95 hatch and should i just get a custom test pipe??? will that work or will i need to do something else

*edit* if i get the custom piping from him all i need is an exhaust. im confused. im gettin the header and does his piping take the place of the test pipe back or what. does the muffler weld onto the piping.
