i haven't really tested out the car because i'm having some exhaust leak problems.. once that's fixed.. i'll be tuning it at 1 bar on dec 11th.. just wanted to share.

thanks again phil. great guy to work with! his welding is awesome!

half tig half mig welded.. i would have had it all tigged but i needed to get this done.

phase 1: first time cutting any kind of pipes.. was kinda scared haha


phase two: ghetto tape.. but hey everything had to be lined up for it to be welded


phase three: welded the first half of the pipe


phase four: welded up the last half of the pipe


phase five: final install.. NO MORE UGLY wastegate lawnmower on crack sound


phase five #2: cut out

btw... what material is that pipe made out of in phase five? for the wastegate piping right?

i hope my downpipe will turn out that good. I assume you used a few 180 degree bends and such?

doesen't it all go from the turbo, straight out the exhaust?

Ones for an electronic cut out, so he have open downpipe on command. Like CHeezefrogs set up.

thanks everybody

I got all my piping from http://www.jcwhitney.com 2 180 degree bends, 1 90 degree bend, one 1 1/2 inch 180 degree bend and that flexible exhaust tubing for the wastegate..

haha my car is hecka dirty from sitting around for a month and a half on jack stands.. i only could work on the downpipe during the weekends..
