I have a Gude head package in my '00 Civic DX...Actually I have part of the package installed. I've had nothing but problems from this company, and the purchase of a Gude Performance head package is something I regret wasting my money on!!! Half of the package was defective! The first problem was that the Camshaft had a chip in one of the lobbs (sp?). It looked as if it had been dropped. At first thought, I figured that it occured durring the shipping of the product, but then looked at the box and the packaging and there were no dents and the bubble paper had not been popped at all, which leads me to believe that they sent it to me like that. Very poor quality control!! After waiting a good 3 months for another cam, I attemped to install the package. This time everything was ok until the last piece, throttle body. It was the wrong throttle body for my model. I guess Honda changed the spring mechanism from one modle year to the next, so I had to send the TB back. Then I waited some more...Well, the next TB that they sent to me had a poor spring, and it would get stuck open and would not return to its idle position. I never did send it back and I'm still using my stock TB, which sorta defeats the whole purpose of opening everything else up. I've been pretty frustrated with the whole process. I never even sent Gude my stock parts, so I didn't get my discount (500 bux) back If anyone is thinking about getting a Gude Performance head package, please take my advice and think again!!! You will regret it, as I do. It sux to think that I could have invested 2k into something else like a turbo. I wanted to stay NA, and I paid the price.
