where to find tranny code

Default where to find tranny code

Ok i was asking about the h23 vs the h22, but i found one in my town for a good price, so my question now is i have to make sure its a h22 where do i check for the tranny code

it's on a white sticker with a bar code by the clutch slave cylinder, actually very close to the engine code...just on the tranny.

Like this (my euro-r for comparison)

not exactly fuc3ed.. to get an H22 trasmission if the sticker code is missing, check the bellhousing stamp, which is near the fork boot is should be a P16 for a USDM,JDM,EDM for a true H22 trans. if it has a PX5 then don't buy is not an H22 trans. here are some pictures to show you.

not an h22 trans.

Your transmission by the H2a4 sounds like an Accord early 90's. but can double check that.

my tranny says h2a5 and no body will ever know what it is,my h22a was made in 91,and it has a closed deck design it must be an odd ball.

i dont think thats a h22 tranny blklude, i saw ur post and i checked my tranny, i have a turbo h23 right now with my h23 being stock and having the stock h23 tranny...and i have a M2S4 tranny

but the M2S4 can bolt up to the h22 with no problem its still a h-series tranny but no its not a h22 tranny its a h23
