Default latest Spoon titanium shiftknob...

anyone get their hands on one yet? seen a bunch on ebay, but it doesn't seem to be the cheesy generic itr ones...didn't even know they had a new one, if it is genuine spoon. looks like the heated end of your familiar titanium exhaust...

Why in gods name would anyone want to spend that much on a shiftknob?

While it is a lot, a shift **** is an integral part to operating a vehicle at peak efficiency. The cost for something like this should be overlooked in terms of the comfort and peak operation that result from the right interface to operating your vehicle...ie shift ****, steering wheel, etc.

Man I'm sounding more "JDM" by the day...

While I don't like much of what Spoon offers, if the shift **** fits then go for it.

Just FYI I sold my stock **** for close to 100 bucks. I'd rather use the stock **** than the spoon one.

Best Shift **** out there

I've had a Bunch, OEM 98 ITR, 00-01 ITR, Generic Round one, Mugen, ARC Ti Round, Spoon Alum, Spoon Duracon.
Out of all of them the Spoon Duracon has to be my favorite due to position, feel, looks, and the fact that it doesnt transfer heat like every metal shift **** I've had.

From what I'm told its the same size as the other Spoon ***** Minus the Shift Pattern and with more of a rounded edge.

It looks like it's now safe to add Spoon to the list of manufacturers of "JDM racing rice". I'll concede that a shift **** is partially an aesthetic piece, but in most cases I still find myself preferring the look of things with forms that follow their functions. To me, heating the Ti to produce the color in this piece doesn't seem to hold much purpose other than "bling". Now, using Ti solely for its physical properties would be a different story, although I can't think of any real advantage it would provide in a shift ****.
