if u did MPFI swap make sure u used shielded wire and that the wires arent inverted
as on my case i have used 3 known good dizzys and i still get the code, i got shieldede wire, i hazve all soldered and have checked my wiring 10 times and still got the code.. doesnt affect my performance at all...

ive replaced my distributor 5 different times and i still end up with this damn code..
If anyone has anything to offer for a solution, please give your input. Im positive its somewhere in the wiring harness if replacing your distributor does not solve your remedy. Otherwise, yes the problem lies within the distributor housing where the crank sensor is located.
