Default Anyone making big HP on stock heads?

Just curious who is making big hp on stock heads?
i dont really have it in my budget to do the head this year, but wondering if its really worth it to bust my *** right now for it .

local guy here made 550whp with stock head and cams 60-1@28psi.

we are making well over 500 on a stock head.. well it has crower cams. but no port work. it made 510hp at 7000 rpms, we shut down at 7000 due to a slipping clutch.

GSR head and cams, yes that is whp on a dynojet.

nice im not soo worried then , i was told i would pretty much not be touching 500whp on stock head. so i guess i will hold out.

Allen's car (hondahvn) made 540whp and 400wtq with a stock head. Just REV springs and retainers. Stock GSR cams.

nope, stock. We're reoding some stuff for next season. A motec and a ported head being the main things. He's looking to be competitive in the sport FWD class.

im looking to to , but dont know if i should be in a rush for this season , my head is pretty decent from the factory i know it can handle 9k revs cuz iv been doing it for 3 yrs now . i just got worried becuase some people keep asking me about my head and theres nothing done yet.
