Default CTR Crank pulley results

well installation took me 10 mins...
i was nervous to install it because I didnt have a crank pulley
bolt remover. I took out the handy hi power air gun
and it just zipped off in one second.

i dont have a PS or AC in my car anyways.. so
no other belts had to be changed...

i used a 4pk730 belt... but it could totally use a 735-740 mm size belt too...
740 would probably be best...

in any case... butt dyno feels great... the engines revs much quicker.
and i "feel" an increase in acceleration... cleans up the engine bay nice as well.

definitely worth the $65 dollars i got it for on Ebay.

Nice...I'll probably be doing that when I get around to doing my timing belt.

how much lighter would you say the ctr pulley is compared to the one you took off. also, have you had experience with aftermarket flywheels? just wondering if the effect is the same or similar as installing a lightweight flywheel.

we put one on my friends GSR and he said it was noticable. we also removed the P/S and A/C he had on his though. revs a little bit quicker, nothing like a 8lb fly but still better than stock.

good upgrade for the price IMO.

it went on a JDM GSR motor...
id say its way less than half the weight of the stock crank pulley.
i doubt its equivalent to a lightened flywheel, but every ounce counts!

I have this pulley alone with the AEM altenator pulley. The car fells great. FYI. You could use the stock belt if you plan to do both pulleys. My Lights are still bright and the charging system is right on the money.
