Hid's with non-projector headlights?
Factory reflector based HID from OEM has a specail designed reflector for HID bulbs.
Your normal halogen reflector will give glare and blind people cause you'll light up the highbeam part and the low beam part.

well im building my geo prizm (dont flame me) for a sleeper, and so far ive done a 4age swap with the basic I/H/E setup. and will later on boost it..
i love the total road light up it gives making everything much more visible and look is astonishing and eye catching lol. but i dont know how the quality of the light would be with my headlights.. i was thinking about going with a 5000k or 6000k bulb, none of that purple ricer **** lol.

That defeats the purpose of good lighting, because your lighting up the ground and not the signs.
When i see people with plug and play kits on the highway, they aim it so low, they dont' even light up any signs and just the ground. When i roll by them, they probley wonder how the hell do i have such good lighting, lighting up the signs with a nice cut off and wide beam pattern with my retro fitted tsx projectors hehe

not only will you have glare but rockin plug & play HID's in a halogen reflector housing will make the hot spots show out like crazy. I had a plug & play kit in my EJ8 and it was horrible.
now I'm rocking a E46 Bosch Bi-Xenon Projector Retrofit

It's still not made for HID...you'll be much more happy with a retrofit

I agree with Devani ...Too many people asking about HID plug and play in honda-tech.
Someone should sticky some OEM HID info and why plug and play kits are bad

use whatever you can afford at the moment.
Oh yeah, HIDz increases horsepower!! The bluer the HIDz are, the more horsepower you will get!!
Here's a dyno to prove it:

Okay aside from all sarcasm, what you want is a proper HID setup.
A retrofit would yield some good results no doubt

i know not doing a retro wont give me the light output nor clearity i want. but i do think that retro-fitting is quite expensive correct?
fx + ballasts + bulbs = 160
retrofitting them yourself = priceless
PnP HID kit = 140
160 retrofit >>>>>>>>>>>> ; 140 pnp kit

see thats the thing, i dont know if i have the skills nor tools to retro fit a set of headlights..... what are the best OEM HID's? or maybe just buy a kit?
If you look hard enough you can get all your stuff for about 100 bucks.
i can hook you up with Philips 85122+ bulbs for 20 a set(x2 bulbs).
I like matsushita generation 3 ballasts from infiniti/nissan

Do you have any pics of your lights? Then we can give you a little more help as to which projectors would fit good into your housings. There are a few people here such as myself who can do a retrofit for you.
as a matter of a fact i do. let me look in my pictures real quick...
ok done.. this is pretty much what my Geo looks like... except i have different rims and my color blue is A LOT darker..no pictures of my geo since that my sister broke my camera.

here is another from the front and back, courtesy of Egay... they are single beam headlights and i would want my hi's and low's to both be HID's.
