Default Why all these tranny problems?

I know that as our cars age and rack up miles, things will break, but it seems there are ALOT of posts lately about transmission problems in GSR's. Synchros going bad, the shifter fork issue, and of course the springs coming loose on the clutch disks. What is up? Did Honda just cheap out on these things, or did they not realize that a high-revving, high output motor would be so tough on the tranny?
I bought my GSR figuring it would be problem free (with proper maintenance) until 150-200k miles, just like my 86 Integra LS.
I have had all sorts of troubles with my GSR - clutch woes, my transmission shifts like a toaster oven full of sand. I really love it when it grinds going into 5th.
WTF HONDA !?!?!?!?
Did you hear that ? That is the sound of Honda losing a customer to Subaru (WRX). Coming soon !
I just entered "separation" and will be divorced in 1 year !
PS the wife is getting the prelude and the Subaru, but I get to keep all the GUNS !

Apparently, some of the shifter forks either get bent during use, or maybe were accidently made bent so that it and the throw out bearing do not slide smoothly and evenly over the shaft and against the pressure plate fingers.
Can anyone else clarify ?
