Are you sure you want to drop the cash without the Horsepower gains...A cold air from AEM or DC-Sports, or Injen might be better and cheaper...But as allways its your $$$$.

It is not so much about the cash and power. Talk to Michael Delaney of team integra the aem cai will suck in dirt, he said when he went to rebuild his b-series it looked like the rocker arms were sand blasted in fact they were so bad he had to buy new ones.

If the rest of the engine looked that way, yeah...that would be a pile of stinkin crap. But in the regular world a lot of people run the cold air intakes for plenty of miles withouot any problems. As long as they aren't driving into puddles.
I check both of mine every 10,000 miles, K+N say its not needed but every 40-50,000 miles in regular conditions. Its just that the icebox is not cheap. You could have the same power increases if not even better with the AEM V2. If I am wrong, sorry. But I have seen the dyno graphs for each and the ice-box is not impressive.

I think he meant to be suggesting that you check the price at http://www.comptechusa.com.

It's $289 there. http://solar.innercite.com/comptech/330150si.html. How does that compare w/the other prices you've found?
