Default How much is my car worth???

I am considering selling my project hatch> I have never had a coupe and I think it may be time for a trunk. As the pics will tell this was a ground up build from a theft recovery 98 Silver DX hatch (thus a salvaged title, but all that was stolen was the Bseries swap/trans)

AFTER the EBP paint:

98 Civic DX Hatch
99 front end conversion(hood, headlights,fenders,grill,front bumper)
99 Tailights (red/clear)
painted Electron Blue Pearl (B95P, 99+Si blue) from Vogue sil Met.
VIS racing Carbon Fiber hood with CF underwrap
LS/VTEC (std CTR pistons, ITR rings, JDM SIR2 head+manifold+TB+tranmission)
18x7.5 Racing Hart CP-035's powdercoated from winning white to Flat black
GSR stock header
99 SI cat+exhaust(custom fit)
Black housing headlights
CTR F.Grill
CTR F.Lip
CTR R.Lip
Carbon Fiber rear duckbill
GSR F. strut brace
Tenzo R strut brace
S200 side markers+sockets
Skunk2 extended wheel studs+Ulight lugs+Coilovers
99 "DOHC VTEC" under moldings and rear "SI" emblem
Shaved emblems, antenna, and Handles
99 Civic SI dash, Cluster, heater core, CD player, shift ****/boot,Leather steering boss center arm rest, engine wiring harness, dash harness, floor harness.
Sparco Speed seats+clubman harness

Just want to know how much I should ask for it cause I think I want to build a hybrid coupe or a JDM fronted integra..

Yup, and I doubt if you will even get that. I wish modding a car would get you more money out of it, but shaving the door handles just killed your resale value. Also, why the eyebrows?? Kinda looks strange with the CF hood right next to it.

I'm sure you can get at least $6,000 for it. There is always someone out there who will bite! Good luck with the sale. I suggest you start at least around $12,000. Yes, I know that sounds extremely high, but trust me, you will get people interested, and who knows, someone might even pay you $10,000 for it!

Rich people will pay you $8,000-$10,000.
My people, the poor people will ask you to lower it to $5,000-$8,000.

But...

You can wait for the right buyer for around $$9,00-$$12,000.

hatch looks good, you will never get the time or money you spent on the car back,

I agree, start high so that you can come down to a resonable price.

eybrows, si badge, big tac

you already got the SI cluster no need for the big tach

everything was tastefully done though

Worth is a completely subjective personal term. You value the car differently than everyone else in the world. You car ends up being worth whatever the highest bidder offers you.

The idea is to list it for a lot then come down once you get some bites. SO if 8000 is what you would like then list for 9900. Once someone really likes it they may make an offer, meanwhile you can bargain with them right down to your 8000 if needed. The buyer then thinks they got a deal. IMO of course.

I'd say close to 10k, so start out higher than that.

I would suggest.. the best way to caculate... is to take the value of your car as if it were bone stock w/ good miles.. +add the current sale price for each major performance item.. engine swap, suspension, brakes, seats , wheels etc, then deduct aprox 30-40% for used parts depreciation... add that to your car's bluebook value (not trade in or retail.. but the middle figure..) .. and throw in an Or best offer...

i think you have a better chance of selling it for more by making it look for stock and not telling people what you have in it. take ALL the stockers off, and get rid of the eyelids. i would part the rims out and put some si/hx/blades on there. i would value your car at around $9000 im also not a big fan of lsvtecs only because i've known a couple people that have problems with their lsvtecs that didn't start occuring until after 3/4-1 year.. I'm planning on selling my car early next year when i pay it off with my tax refund.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=669916&page==

probably sell it for $8000. the chassis has 70k, engine has 15k and its a '99. your car's a very clean car though. i love the paintjob.
