Default Progress rear swaybar vs. ST bar Review

i remember reading a thread some time ago about the ST bar having clearance problems and people wanted to know about the progress bar, so heres my review of it.

The Progress bar is 7/8" thick(22.23mm) and the st bar 13/16"(20.64mm). The progress bar is over a mill thicker. The design is better aswell. the lenth of the bar from the bend to the end link is shorter, leaving less leverage, and requiring more force to twist the bar. The bar also mounts slightly higher on the rear subfram for better road clearance and there is more exhaust clearance. I'm not to familiar with the pricing on both bars but the progress bar cost my brother $140. Driving the car the difference is subtle under normal driving, only under extreme cornering u can feel the rears resistence to rolling. I highly recomend the bar if your willing to pay the small difference of the ST bar.

Progress bar(I was kinda dissappointed when i saw it wasn't green like all their other products )

ST bar

you guys should check out Eibach bars as well. the rear is same diameter as stock but the material used is much, much thicker. clearance isnt an issue what so ever.

are you running a stock bar with that progress bar. that bar on a LX sounds like a recipe for lots oversteer.
