Default Jim Fab Crossmember

Is anyone out there using this crossmember on a daily driven vehicle? How do you like it? Any difference to stock? Thanks for your answers.

Not to jack your thread, but can you use a 92-95 rad with the jimfab? I am pretty sure you can with the z10 but i like the jimfab better...

im using it on my daily driver and i like it alot......... just to warn you, you will feel every bump in the road with these bars.........

cornering is much improved and wheel hop is decreased, but im having problems getting them adjusted correctly for my setup....... i just havent had time to adjust them again due to school and work........

Thanks for the reply. What are you trying to adjust? I don't get it. My set up on my car is Tokico 5-way ajustable w/eibach springs and prothane bushings all around with 94-GSR rims on 195/55.

adjusting the heim joints/radius rods........ they unscrew and are adjustable to how much load or preload you want.......

it seems like you have a good suspension setup already, i say go for it dude, its not an extremely bad ride......... it keeps ur tires planted thats for sure.

Ahh, finally a descriptive reply from someone who actually owns and experiences the product.

Did you get an alignment after the installation? I would assume the adjustable radius rods would alter your CASTER, wouldn't it?

We have the Jimfab bars on several local customer's cars and they work so good at the track and the street, but we highly recommend getting an alignment if you are not familiar with adjusting them yourself.

The Jimfab bar should not be solution to be able to fit a 92-00 Radiator on your EF, its not going to work. We suggest Using the C&R "Shorty" radiator if you want a smaller radiator for your EF. The "SHorty" radiator is designed for the EF to be able to fit B series motors with big headers or if you need more space to fit a large turbo on the drivers side of the engine bay. The size is similar to the 92-00 civic radiator but is the perfect height for the EF chassis.

BTW: Jimfab 88-91 Civic/CRX is in stock and ready to ship as well as the 92-00 version

correct the do alter your caster and toe, as of right now i have them adjusted close to 0 load which is just having the rods turned out enough so the bolt slips right thru the bar...... i dont have access to a lift and its hard to have them adjusted farther out to see how it performs, but ppl have told me the 0 setting is the best all round..........

and i have not had an alignment yet but from what i can tell its not off by a whole lot......... im just keeping an eye on my tires as well..... I still definitely recommend these bars, daily driving is not a hassle with them.

sorry i guess i was mis-informed about the 92-95 rad......

Hmmm? See I was told that there are 2 different Jim Fab bars for the 88-91 CRX one that you can use the 92-95 radiator and one that you cant? Also that you were able to have the front mount as well??

Yeah what about some aftermarket rear LCA's? There was a post not too long ago and someone sells some billet ones for CRX's/Hatches but whats the big deal about them? I mean besides being lighter do you get anything else out of them? Heres the ones from the other thread. http://store.hybridgarage.com/...0007B
