Can someone please give me the color code for spoon yellow. I want to paint my car with Duponts Chroma base system but I need a paint code or at least a name of the color.

I have a blue and yellow spoon...I eat my lucky charms with it....I guess I need an all yellow one to be cool now

 

spoon doesn't have a specific yellow color it's basically just the stock yellow from honda like the stock yellow eg6 color is carnival yellow. a lot of the pics iv'e seen with yellow spoon cars look a lot like the color on the itr's. i think the paint code for phoenix yellow is y-56

 

why do people think that if I wan my car to be yellow and specifically spoon yellow im trying to be cool or some ****? Just because I didnt know it was the stock honda color doesnt mean im a ricer or a dumbass. I need to sell my busted up ek (of which Ill post pics in a sec) and it needs to be repainted, so an atractive color will help me sell it for a higher price. Y56 is Phoenix Yellow and Sunlight Yellow they are the same code just different names for different areas of the world.

Actually they are different colors

 

The colour that spoon used on their eg is different from the colour that they used building their ek! The eg is Almost 100% the same as itr and the ek had more of a slight orange tint to it. Since my car is going yellow next year Ive spent alot of the past month researching this issue. Ive got the code for my eg and out come back our summer. Ive also got some backing from SPOON SPORTS themselfs so Im actually very happay. Special thanks to speedstar, and A&J.

If your only doing this to sell your car. Just pick any yellow and paint it. Mazda yellow is forsure one of the nicest around!

painting ur car in a new different color DROPS THE PRICE OF THE CAR

 

if you decide to do a different color, you'd better do it under the hood (pull the engine or go through pain in *** of taping everything off) and all door jams..well, just don't do it unless you're basically taking it down to the shell. You can come check out my ride, for example. it was teal, the previous owner painted it VSM, and it's a great paint job, but it's just not factory. Door jams are everything are good, VERY little overspray, but it's still VSM OVER TEAL..

if you do it, do it right. if not, paint it factory color and let it be.

and yes, those guys are internet trolls.
they don't have any intention of helping out, just to criticize with their "wit".

the car is very messed up and I am going to take it down to the shell. I want i to be atractive for jdm ricers specially who dont have the time to do things themselves and pay a price for this kind of crap
