Well I have recently purchased a 95 Honda Civic EX 1.6 SOHC Vtec 5spd...110kmiles interior perfect.. non h/b and it is dirt slow.

It is embarassingly stock except for an airfilter the kid before be tried to put in and it is ziptied down to a peice of the motor???, and some super corosion on my battery(does that add horsepower? ) The other day I lost a simple race to a Toyota Paseo (friend of mine's mom's car and now he wont stfu, reason I lost is because im kinda new to the 5spd thing and i put it in 2nd to early and it made a wierd noise and went all slow...)

Anyways I make pretty decent money for being a teenanger that goes to school and all and I eventually want to Swap the engine or get a turbo. Both of these things are going to cost me around 2-3 Grand installation and all and i want to know what my best bet should be before i go out and waste my money.

I hear b16,b18 swaps are great except its a bitch to find a good place that has the complete swap needed that is fairly cheap and another hassle finding a honest mechanic that will swap em out.

I dont know ANYTHING about turbos cept there alot of fun and maybee you need other stuff to go with it (turbo timer? intercooler? or somthing?)

Well this is my first time at Honda Tech so please help me out guys with turning my street peice, into a street beast
