Totalled my LS..... I should be dead.. Pics and vids inside... :(
Someone should kill me......... before flames shall come... Yes i was racing... But some way it wasnt related... BUt hey, i am who i am.... So dont deny the fact u guys never been in a street race yourselves...
I raced my friends h22 intake header exhaust prelude.. Took him by 5 cars... Some guy came out (country roads) and scared us off.. So we were speeding out of there... redlined 3rd and all the sudden i lost control........ Started swerving and spun around so many times i cant remember... I hit the dirt (on the side of the road) and it spun even more... BAM BAM *silence* BAM BAMBAM I ran into the grape vines... knocked off 4 cement water pipes or so.. Dont really know what it was..
I got up all shooken up and my friend was like GET OUT GET OUT! and i was like huh wtf, i tired opening my door and it was slammed shut, he couldnt get out his door cuz of the power door locks, he was panicking also. I realized my motor was still on so I try to drive out but i was stuck...
All in all.. I'm VERY Glad my friend got out okay, and that i didnt hurt anyone else, hell with me, if i got hurt or died.... Then i deserved it...
The damage is 2 damaged SSR TYPE C Rims, both my Azenis are gone, 3 doors are damaged badly, what i'm really worried about, is this lower part underneith the door.... I will show u guys later, no quarter panels damaged, none of that, I'm pretty sure the insurance will total it.. But i really wanna rebuild this... Its not that i'm being cheap or anything, it's just that i'm gonna have the thought of driving another car i know isnt my origional baby....
Oh yeah.. my exhaust got bent all the way back and stabbed my left tire and popped it..

This is my exhaust... notice the tip is where the rim is....
This is what im really worried about.. The doors are gone, but can be replaced, what about the part underneith it? Its connected to the whole car but when i looked under the car its still straight...

yea insurance will definately total that thing, maybe you can buy it back really cheap but if the frame is damaged and what not it wont be worth it. glad to hear your okay but seriously...redlining 3rd gear w/o being on the track isnt the smartest move...and according to your info and being 17, you really need to be smarter dude.

but i had the offer to buy a 99 gsr for 12 grand recently and i passed it up because my 98 GS is my pride and joy. Rebuild it..thats what i would do. No one else knows your car like you do, especially when you have worked on it so much.

ouch...wrecking is one of my biggest worries....aside from getting jacked! Hope all goes well in the fixing process. Glad your ok.......btw, so what exactly happened in 3rd gear? from the video, it almost sound like you misshifted or something........but how did you lose controL?

Oh yeah.. for the record, i know about the smoke out of my car, the rings never seated correctly, i was close to installing my new block soon

i share your pain man, i wasn't racing but i also wrecked my car.
i was just doing a little exhibition thru a new neighborhood without any houses yet (so i couldnt hurt anyone) when i came to a turn that was about 100 degrees left and i attempted an e-brake turn but did a fraction of a second too late and slid right into the nice high curb. my first Teg was totalled.
i just hope people can learn from mistakes from people like us that dont think everything thru ( on me )
