Thanks man... this is only a partial tune... car only had 250 miles... needed to clean up the A/F ratio a bit... it was running to rich in parts and lean in others on the base map I was breaking it in with. Didn't want to abuse the engine so just data logged a few passes to correct some major fuel issues

C'mon now...I heard from a very credible source that Jerry was very close to 15:1 Compression, with a larger bore. 241 w\ 84.5mm and <14:1 Compression is very good, especially if there is room to go. Those Throttle Bodies...are nice.

Keyword: "almost identical"

and that reputable source you "heard" about Jerry's bore size was probably Jeff's posts when he posted the dyno charts of Jerry's motor. Yes its larger than 84.5mm and im sure the intent of this post wasnt..."Lets see who can build a high HP motor better than Jerry's". Is it me or do people just like to hate when someone accomplishes something. Envy is just a sign of fear boys

Weaksauce! I know a guy who knows a guy who built a stock bore ITR motor making that much power! J/K

Very nice! Wish my motor came close to that, very nice torque curve. Quite impressive.

Jerry is running the IB spec Super Duper Pistons, aren't those the ones that are gas ported? That's a big difference from Christian normal Endyn RW pistons

I guess this thread just proved RS_H22 wrong, someone is actually making power with endyn stuff

I've been waiting forever to see your dyno, you're putting out a crazy amount of torque, i can't wait to see your figured once you have fully broken in your motor, keep up the good work man

Gas ports are an option on IB SD's... Jerrys motor is 13.8:1, no gas ports, daily driven, pump gas...

Thats a very good motor, Ill give credit where credit is due... very nice

242 matches the previous highest with RW pistons... I saw the work that went into that last motor that made 242 with those pistons... i was there for the build... I have maaaad respect for the work that goes into a motor like that... reguardless of what parts are in it...

much props

Whew. . .these two motors are like the culmination of the H-T rivals. Jun vs Toda, SMS vs. HyTech, Endyn vs. IB. They both make power though, and thats all that matters.

keep us posted Christian.

I am not sure how this turned into a ImportBuilders vs Endyn thread but anymore comparisons will be deleted. I am just posting a dyno from my recently finished motor. Not a my parts maker is better than yours. I porpusely didn't mention a list of parts.

the ATS gearing is really nice, the car will never drop below 7000 rpms on shifts and is always in peak power. The only problem I forsee for me is that I may be making too much power for the short 5th gear. I have a feeling on the long road course straights I may have to rev it out to 9500 rpms which would max me out at 146mph. I would love to take it out to VIR full course to test it out
