Default Edelbrock Performer X intake manifold Dyno'd (SOHC)

Alright guys, Here it is. Mind the low end of the chart. Had some small issues with the Software.

Obviously I need to recalabrate my Butt dyno...I thought I was making more power at 5000. It produces less power at crossover but then makes a nice chunk of change above 5700. As you can see there is also some nice low-end increase as well.....HA, it's all about the upper in a 1.6L!

Car is currently at AEM for the next week being test fitted and dyno'ed with many CAIs and Short rams to see what makes the best power. And how to mount it properly since the TB is in a different location.

Silencer 114.5 and 119.5

No silencer 116 to 121.

How much tuning was involved in these runs? Estimating from the scale on the left, it produced between 2-4 whp gains at various points on the graph, and roughly 2 whp losses at certain others, correct?

Looks like it's really moving power around. Is the loss of 2-3 hp in some areas worth the 2-3 peak HP increase?

Stock fuel and ingnition, will not modify the car in anyway shape or form to keep me from passing smog. Completly California Smog legal car.

BTW, it is at AEM for the next week being test fitted with many CAIs and Short rams to see what makes the best power. And how to mount it properly.

I like how it keeps climbing at the rev limiter where it was maxed out with the stock manifold!

Anyone have a before and after comparison of the Skunk 2 manifold?

With silencer installed 114.5 before 119.5 after
Without silencer 116 before and 121 after.

Yes stock TB. Edelbrock makes a 65mm TB for the B that will bolt up however you will have to bore the Intake manfiold another 3mm.

They may make a 62mm TB.

yes, believe that they increased it by 5psi. wonder if the same would benefit the edelbrock IM in a n/a setup.
