Default B18C1 Dyno (Not what i expected) 278.7 WHP

okay, i got a few problems.
this is a dyno at 13 psi, the setup is..

1994 B18C1 81.5 mm.
JE 9.0:1
Eagle Rods
STR blockguard

Max-Rev manifold and downpipe(2 1/2")
Max-Rev IC w/ Revhard IC piping
Garrett T3/To4e .57 trim, .63 ar
Tial 35 mm HP wastegate
Greddy Type S BOV

3Â’ Thermal exhaust
Skunk2 camgears
Skunk2 manifold
Hondata 2B
RC 550 cc.
Walbro 255 lph

is it me or are the numbers wayy too low??

also, im having rough idle after boosting it a good bit.
tuner told me that i should get a fuel pressure regulator and a fuel rail and
that it will make my idle smoother. is there truth to that? anyone else have this problem.

well, heres the dyno sheet. any input would help.
personally im kinda disappointed in the power.

maybe the compression on those pistons are too low.

i doubt it, ive seen many people with 9.1 makin lot better power than me.

concerning the a/f ratio charts......
i completely forgot about those charts, i was way too pissed. im gonna try to email him and see if he still has the charts and maybe he can send them to me. if he does ill post them up

2.25" downpipe and stock throttle body are hurting you and if you do a little head porting that would help too. Also if you have cat take it off.

Good torque numbers. Torque is all that really matters anyways

I believe the dp he listed was 2.5 And a stock throttle body won't hurt power that much. It might just be due to low compression and a 57trim turbo. Not bad #'s. They aren't really high, but everything looks smooth.

There is definately something wrong...

My friend made 275whp with a stock b16 with a blitz headgasket, fmu, and a dragIII kit at 10psi. This was like 3 years ago too...

You need to keep looking cus they're is something wrong, perhaps you can try another tuner..

no.. such problems should be related to tuning, at least not fuel rail.. f.p.r can make tuning easier.. other than that it doesn't seem too low of numbers for your setup.

Ask your tuner what your total timing is at full boost. Or get some dataloges and post them if possible.

this is just a guess but id say from that trq you are boosting closer to 10~ psi not 13... thats just speculative tho.

i would look into that maxrev intercooler.....they arent very effecient IC for high boost application.

but do you think that the intercooler could hinder the power that much? too tell you the truth, at 13 psi i was almost definate i would hit 300 whp.

Listen to what ED told you to change... He knows his stuff. I have taken my car to him both times for tuning and I have been pleased both times.

What are your cam gears set at? Zero them back out and make another pull.

First check your compression. If everything ok, check your timing. I'm almost 100% your timing is way off. That's the only reason you're not making power.

What boost gauge, boost controller? I would check coompression, timing, and then maybe consider if maybe boost gauge/controller is off. Numbers are definetely low

boost guage and controller is greddy. brand new too.

and does anyone know the cause of rough idling after boosting it a few times?
my idle is perfect if i drive it nice and easy, but after pushing it, the idle starts to wobble b/w 200 rpm and 1k

I would suggest a leakdown test, you said your running a 94 b18c1 right ? its a possibility that the valve seals are worn.
