Default A stu stu studdah

just got my 92 hatch back from the shop.....i have a 95 gsr swap in it........2 days ago while drivng, the engine started to studder. When driving it would consistantly rev up it would jerk and studder....it would only do that for every day drivng......if i push on it i can't seem to tell it doing it anymore.........but when driving casually, it doesn't drive smoothly and jerks/studders.
What could it be?
-i have new plugs in
-maybe head gasket, but its not smokin from the head
-my cam gears are zeroed so its not that.....idk
PLEASE HELP
Thanks a ton Josh

the car idels great so i just don't understand......
when driving, the tach sometimes jumps and then the car studders........but otherwise it just ..studders.....its hard to explain....it did it one other time so i cahnged the plugs and cleaned overything up and it stopped. Then i took my car in because it was overheating and me and some buddies were trying everything and we couldn't get it to not overheat, now it doesn't overheat but doesn't drive well either

are you saying put in a new fuel filter...and what is the "and what not" I need all the help i can.
I don't think its the clutch...brand new clutchmasters stage 3, 6 puck.......the car is definatly in gear and driving for a while and then like a little later it starts to jump and make the car jerk and leech. it only does it sometimes

hhmmmmm.....i am trying to think of everything possilbe. Recently i put in a thermostat and some of the coolant spilled out of where the thermostat goes.......it got onto some of the wires but i cleaned it up as best as possile....barley any got on them. But when i started it thats really when it got funny. it has gotten progressivly better but still the same studder. What the hell.....sucks a lot
thanks agian, Josh

take off that distributor cap and have a look inside. Bad things happen when moisture gets into the ignition.
