01SpecR is a great guy, who paid Speedpack for something he didn't recieve. Seems he's pretty innocent to me. I don't understand how his lack of proper english grammer has any bearing whatsoever to this case of fraud. Speedpack can feel like a big man now that he's ripped off a kid who mods his car through a min paying job. Scammers:

I do not know either of you but let me put this in here to help both of you out. This is in another thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=638222

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SpeedPak &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Ok,

I have no issue trying to clarify things for anyone. First off I'd like to make it clear that the issue w/ Tillerman was not the reason i was absent from H-T, those of the members that know me personally, know that I was going through a very life changing personal upheaval at the time.

I had posted a lot of my stuff for sale during that time. I sold much of my personal belongings, to fund what I was doing to regain my personal life, one of the items was an intake from my ITR which I had recently sold. Other parts from the car made it to whereever they were going, and yes I was unsually slow, and I should not have been, but at that time there was a lot going on..no excuses there.

Tillerman and I decided to trade the intake for a strut bar for the S2k, to me it sounded like no one was really interested in buying the intake so I agreed. I sent the part out a total of 3 times, twice it was returned to me, the last time it was not. During this time I had also recently moved to ohio to put myself through a kind of personal hell, and so matters from H-T and the rest of the world for that matter fell to the wayside. Time went on and the issue continued to grow, and after finally getting sick of everything (and after talking Socalitr) i decided the strut bar wasnt worth the mess and sent BOTH parts back one final time. That was the last I saw of either. I do not have an ITR so I have no use to scam someone for a $150 intake, and anyone is more than welcome to inspect my S2k and find NO strut bar or anything similiar on the car. I do not know what happened and to be honest, good or bad, at the time this was happening I really didnt care. I sent it, I didnt get it returned, I assumed case was closed.

Apparently it is not, I was not aware that Tillerman still thinks i scammed him. I'm not trying to defend my actions and say I was right, but I would not steal or scam anyone, and last of all an ITR owner.

That all said, since then my situation has changed for the better, and things have normalized quite a bit. This was my first hit back to H-T, and I do not wish anyone to think I'm a scammer or a thief or what not, so you guys tell me what I should do? I did read through the posts, and i guess i would have liked if ppl showed up at my door w/ bats on their way to the expo, that way they could see first hand I truely DONT have any of the parts anymore. And before anyone asks...no i dont have shipping reciepts, hell in all my moving i even lost my W2's.

After sending both parts back, apparently he is not satisfied, I would assume he hasnt recieved anything or something like that..i dont know.

So anyway that is my end of the story... I'm sure i'm gonna get flamed to hell, but tell me what should I do?</TD></TR></TABLE>

I'm sure there are people on this board that can back both members in terms of being good people. Insulting them doesn't remedy the situation.

I saw the packages wrapped up myself ready to go out for the second or third time. Regardless of that, I don't think that other people (myself included) should be commenting on it.

for reposting that in this thread Migs

This is how I see it...

Speedpak has claimed to shipped the products, with a witness to the packaged items, although there isn't prrof that the products were actually shipped.

01SpecR claims to have not received the package although it was shipped 3 times, with it being returned the first two times.

We do not have proof that Speedpak did indeed send the packages, nor do we have proof that 01SpecR did not receive the packages...

Speedpak, if you sent the packages, good for you, if you didn't you know it was wrong and you scammed one person, even though you were shipping quite a few parts off.

01SpecR, if you didn't receive the packages bummer, sorry to hear that, as it happens sometimes buying over the internet, if you did receive the packages you're the one that's the scammer.

Either way something happened, but I'm inclined to believe Speedpak.

The facts:
-01SpecR and Speedpak agreed to trade an S2K strut bar for an AEM intake.
-01SpecR sent the S2K strut bar out and Speedpak recieved the strut bar.
-Speedpak says he sent the AEM intake twice and both times it bounced back.
-Speekpak says he will send both AEM intake and strut bar to 01SpecR.
-01SpecR calls Speedpak many times leaving messages.
-01SpecR says he has not received anything to this date.

The way I see it is:
-If Speedpak did send it out the 3rd time, it may have bounced back again, since he was so busy (cause 01SpecR never could get a hold of the guy) he may not have been home to recieve it.
-If Speedpak did send it out, it can be traced to prove it was sent successfully or not.
-Why would 01SpecR lie about not recieving it when the package can be traced.
-If Speedpak did not insure it or sent it in a way where you can not trace it, then who's fault is it...certainly not 01SpecR's.

I'm inclined to believe 01SpecR.

Ok...here's my input (final) on this situation...

First of all, I'd like to say that I don't know either one of the parties involved personally...

I don't believe that this needs to be hashed out in a public forum...both parties (I assume) are reasonable adults that can handle their business. This happened a long time ago and from Fais' perspective, he didn't know that it happened at all.

I have seen Fais on here for quite some time, and from my perspective, I don't believe that he would intentionally scam someone. Again, I don't know him personally, just from others recommendations and vouches for him.

I am very pleased that everyone here is trying to help out both parties, but the transaction was between them and the resolution should be between them. Now that Fais has become aware of the situation, if it is not resolved in a reasonable amount of time from now, then I agree that other users should be made aware of the transaction gone wrong. But I believe that he is entitled to an attempt at making it right...

So, I am locking this thread and I hope that I don't have to delete any future threads concerning this matter. I will also contact both parties and try to help them get this situation resolved. Thanks for taking the time to read this...
