Default OFFICIAL 2003 R-Speed at Limerock NASA HPDE November 10th

Be there!

To Register if you missed it:

http://www.nasanortheast.org/php/regevent.php

Hopefully not cold or wet like last year. There seems to be almost 8 of us so far but, it would be GREAT to see more like Watkin's and even some new faces. Hint, Hint, Hint!

Bring out the R's. For some of us it's our last run till spring 2004.

So start some more talking since Rob's post kinda died and I'm certain that the mud slingin will get thick especially since Marc is coming now. Love ya dude.

IT'S GONNA BE A ROLL-A-TRAN-ATHON

I'll be going up early Monday morning but, will stop at 4 Brothers on the way back home for dinner. Jeanette will be coming to capture more video. I'm gonna train her to change tires and take pressures yet!

Startin to kinda look a bit short now huh guys?

Gonna go watch "Limerock Park the secret valley of racing" again, just love that Documentary

See you there guys.

Anton

My plan is as follows. moving into a new apartment at the end of the month, but signing the lease this weekend. So all my cash is going to that. however, I get a nice paycheck this week, so if registration is still open, I will be signing up for my first HPDE

Sifting through some pics and poking through the NASA boards I found a pic of me and Kyle at Watkin's:

Thanks Vitor

BTW, I'm having more trouble getting the videos on my PC than origionally htought, the program that came with it won't extract for some reason and I need a firewire and card to upload it quicker.

I'm gonna copy it to VHS and of course tape more at LRP.

Id like to get some decent pads if I can make it that day, I was thinking about the Cobalt GT Sports. Cobalt site says they are good for HPDE, but its gonna be chilly outside so you think they will suffice?

From previous reviews about the GT Sports, they should adequate for Lime Rock. It's not a heavy braking track and there are enough time for brakes to cool. If you're planning to use it for daily driving/autocross also, go for it. Consider getting dedicated track pads if you get addicted to this.

doh. you got me.

i thought i'd just let this event go so that you guys could get more track time this year. then next year, you'll have no excuses when i pwn j00 every session @ every event. just kidding

i'd have to ask a big favor from a coworker since he already has that day scheduled off. i'm going to ask tomorrow to see if he'll switch with me.

I've already registered, but didn't know about the discount. I've had a couple of emails back and forth today with NASA, and they (Linda) don't know of this discount.

Can you be more specific in where you got this discount information? Who you spoke with...where it's posted, etc.

I believe Marc (BlueR) got the information from Joe Lee (NASA NE Director), at or after we all showed at Watkin's Glen in September with more ITR's than any other type of car and a better turn out than the WRX ICQ clan.

IM BlueR, I'm sure he could clarify.
