I think I found a piece of a stolen R.... NY AREA PY and CW ITR
NewYorkTypeR,
I was driving in Co-op over by NY Bus Company and I think saw a roof to a PY ITR in the bushes. It was over by that big curve underneath I-95. I'll try and do another drive by tomorrow. If it is to an ITR I'll call the cops and maybe at least they can get fingerprints and see if they match the fingerprints when my car was stolen.
What an ugly site.... a PIECE of an ITR...made me sick !

I just had that heaving feeling and feel sick after reading that you saw the "roof"
Call the cops now before the piece is gone...

I'm also gonna check it out today. Hope its mine just for a piece of mind. Its my B-Day today so maybe thats a present for me, a type r roof. Thanks David for still keeping an eye out. Wish I had fingerprints from the insurance papers that they left from my R and when they broke into my IS.

I just read your signature and dude I think it would be best if you left NY. It seems that you have the crappiest luck. Sorry man.

I was driving down Webster ave Between Gun hill and 233rd a few months back and saw a CW 1/4 panel with the Type R decal still affixed to it. Sad sight to say the least!
CONFIRMED !!! Type R Roof. It was cut with about 3 inches of windshield is left. The plastic interior hatch body panels were also left in the bushes. On the windshield was a oil change sticker that said "Pennzoil". Mario, I think it is your car. God it was a sad sad sight. At least there may be closure and it is easier to move on.
I knew they gutted and disassembled stolen cars, but why in the hell would they chop off the roof? Everything inside could be removed through an open door or hatch... Fawking thieves...
Just saw the message, dont know the exact location so I cant call the police. David do you have a address of where it is. Thanks Also maybe I can go bye there tomorrow to see.

Mario directions from your neighborhood:
I-95 North to Conner Street (maybe exit 13?). At the first immediate light make left turn. Stay straight through next light. As you start passing the NY Bus company the road curves left underneath I-95. As soon as you pass the apex and see bushes on the right that is where the mess is. I sent you an IM with my phone number. When we get there we can call the police together.

Another update:
Mario just checked the car out and it is not his. But upon deeper investigation he has found more pieces of the car in the bushes and all over. The car was last service in Paramus,NJ. So whoever had a PY ITR stolen in Northern, NJ, we just found what used to be your car.

PICS of ITR Posted on my website !!! It was an Integra graveyard. Mario found most of the shell of the car. It was cut up into about 6 pieces. Also, a white Integra which looked like a CW ITR was also found. The PY ITR in the pictures was definitely registered in New York State, had less than 6500 miles and was last serviced at Springfield Acura in New Jersey. See website for the pics. Sad Sad Sad.
See my signature below for my website.

this is just a thought.
i think they chopped up the car into little bits because it's easier to throw into the back of a truck and dumping it elsewhere. it would also attract less attention than dragging a stripped shell thru town
this is the work of a plasma torch or similar. not something u can get at home depot. it's the same thing they use to chop up front clips for jdm conversions from japan.
