I did search but not much results with what Im looking for. I want to see some pic of Apexi N1 or some other Angled exhaust on the EG hatch? ...I've heard that the Apexi N1 hangs too low to the ground, but I just love how the Angled exhaust look!! ..I just thought if I see some other Angled style like the Apexi N1, it will give me some idea of what exhaust to buy.

HKS Hi-power on my EG, angled too just like an R34 Skyline. Sounds great, will be better after adding the BOV (HKS/GReddy/Nismo). In my opinion, if your going for that angled look, you better have the engine behind it to back it up. Not necassarily power so much as representing.

Those angled tips come from some of Japan's best cars, don't ruin it with an unbuilt, stock car.

But, it's all part of the fun!

So you want me to put a Skyline RB26dett motor in thurr? I thought part of the fun fun is to see how much it ( the exhaust or part) perform with what you got? In this case I got a all stock EG hatch, the exhaust has nothing to do with my stock motor...because I plan to swap to a B16 soon!! but, anyway I do not plan to drag race at the track all weekend.
...I know exactly what you mean by "I need a motor to back it up"..but exhaust can still bolt oneven before any kind of motor is swap under the hood!!

 

Man, you guys wiht the N1 style exaust on your hatchbakcs that are that low must scrap like crazy!!! i have apex'i n1 on my coupe and its not that low and its horrible for scraping!!

I dunno......those angled exhaust hand too low for me.......Thats GRindn.......go with something that hugs a little better like the tanabe medallion.....

 

i have a HKS Hiper on my eg9 and it is hammered on Spax coilovers the only thing i scrape is the 45 angle that goes to my cannister even then it is only once in awhile. Not enough for me to worry though.

the hks exhaust has the angled out look like that. good exhaust sound too.

On the apexi n1 midpipe, does it go under the lca or over for a hatch? I'm picking up the midpipe and will only the n1 axleback work with that midpipe or something else besides a custom axleback?
