the jdm cluster does not have a hole for the srs light, so you can either cut the hole out and use the jdm bezel or just use the usdm bezel and swap the top light covers from the jdm cluster

That's what I am wanting to know, can the little light covers interchange, or are the "permenately" fixed to the bezel? I know anything can be done, but I just want to know if it is a easy pop out, pop in process. Thanks.

they pop out, but you have to be VERY VERY Careful. practice with the ones on your old cluster first, they kinda snap in and out....

Cool. I am getting the same cluster and I know that the SRS lite alone would have driven me crazy. I didn't know about the airbags not working.
Thanks again man this is a simple but helpful "how to"

Yea, I wanted to make sure my airbags would still work after the cluster swap, but now I am sure that everything is working since the srs light comes on when the car is started and shuts off just like normal.

The point of this is because the jdm cluster doesnt have the plug. Those of us that want live if we crash want our airbags to work, hence I want to know if my SRS system is working correctly.

i never said to not use the plug... i stated you dont hafta have the black usdm cover with the srs light hole cut out.. as long as it works when you plug it in..

Without the hole, you wont see the light blink when you start your car unless you move it somewhere else which is pointless.
