Default hydraulic tranny conversions!?!?

heres the deal:

gotta 94 prelude si. (5-spd)
putting in a 97-01 h22a4 (5spd)


do i have to do something about the transmission? to make this work properly? someone told me that i had to convert the car to make it handle a hydraulic transmission?... what can u guys tell me?

you do nothing. It will work the same unless you bought a Tyoe sh motor then it wont work. but the Si gearing is a little longer than the h22a gearing

I think he bought the full conversion... I don't think he's using the Si transmission.

no.. im not using the si tranny.. im using the h22a tranny... i gess theres nothing to worry about.. my frend wanted me to check on this.. but i really didnt have any idea what he was talking about...

what are the differences in transmissions? hydraulic and what? non-hydraulic?

all h series use a hydraulic clutch but instead of metal shiftlinkages like integras and civic, preludes use two flexible cables.

i had a h22a4 in my 1993 prelude and it all fit fine, the only difference is in the electronics/sensors
