OVER HEATING Check list...questions? here are the answers
Car overheats.....
1. Does your fan turn on?
if not then make a hot wire to fan to see if it works.
if not then you need a new fan
if fan comes on when hot wired
check fuses....
if fuses are good
change thermoswitch
If fan still doesn't come on, wire up with swith and manuelly turn it on.
2. Fan comes on but still heats up
Change thermostat
3. Fan comes on, you changed thermostat and still heats up
FLUSH YOUR SYSTEM.....possible your water pump is not working (yes it is possible for it to stop working and your timing belt will still be fine)
anything else??
please use this for over heating problems!!! this does not include holes in lines leaky systems....
