I second that notion. But it's still an interesting topic that can use some discussion

The kit does look a little scimpy on the drivers side. It's kinda scarey to think about the mount breaking on you or something while driving. They should have made it out of iron or something crazy strong.

seems like too many headaches right now.

the B-series is well developed and a much "easier" way to still get great power out of the platform.

"props" for the attempt

my opinion... its useless... why? cost/money wise your better off in dropping a type r motor or a gsr... wayyy cheaper than squeezing the rsx motor in... and also gsr motors make 140 give or take 1 to 2 hp to the wheels!!! the rsx type s does 160 give or take 1 to 2 hp... again $$$ wise not worth the 20 whp... rather use the money to boost! also im not sure but im pretty sure if someone dropped the rsx motor in and attempted to mess with it... it will throw all sorts of check engine codes at cha!

C'mon man, honda's drivetrain loss isn't that bad. It is still a cool idea that could fly depending on how well it holds up. As soon as there is some type of wiring adapter\harness that will make wiring a cince I'm sure these motors will be found in a handful of dc2's

My friends stock RSX Type S motor put down 185 at the wheels with just an Injen Intake. With a little cam work, tuning, it should put down a good 200 WHP

The total price is going to be steep for this setup. Lets not forget you also need the rsx 6-speed tranny and ECU, which needs to be unlocked at the dealership because of the Immobolizer.

there is probably some easy way to bypass the immobilizer.... just have to ask some car thieves... those damn bastards....

Anyway, back to the topic. If the K20 fits well with DC2, it would be a good setup... since it has the torque that B18C lacks. hp wise, B18C is good, but we don't drive in high rpm all the time, K20 is a lot better for daily driving. However, with all the trouble and money to get K20 fits into a DC2, it might be better to just buy a RSX-S.
