I am just curious, what price range are you looking for? In addition, are you looking for a full underbody splitter that meets NASA and SCCA IT rules? Are you looking to use the splitter on the street on a lowered vehicle?

I guess I'm looking to spend about $200-300, but it really depends on the quality of the product and how well it suits my needs. The car is not my daily, but I drive it to and from the track so it has to be something I can use on the street (or something that is easy to install/remove at the track). I'm just doing HPDE events right now so meeting NASA and SCCA rules isn't a priority, though I guess it doesn't hurt.

Kiwi, I am interested in buying one for my ITR. Easily removable air-dam with removable/ replaceable/repairable front splitter that extends forward of air-dam and rearwards to form an under-tray. Add two front brake cooling ducts for 2.5-3" hose under turn signal lights and it's perfect. Splitter should be strong enough to stand on they say!

Ditto for a '97 ITR with undertray extending back to front axles.

Gentlemen,
Thank you for your interest in our Aero stuff... And for all the encouraging comments on our web site.
I have just been looking at some very nice, well manufactured AirDams and Splitters elsewhere on this board. Wishing no disrespect or criticism of these other fabricators, I just want to point out a couple of things...
We at Special Projects Motor Sports make parts for Hard Core Racers...
And Hard Core Racers break things!
I just looked at a beautifully made Fiberglass Air Dam and Splitter combined... Really nice, but in my experience when the splitter hits a Kerb and disintigrates... as they always do. There goes the AirDam as well!
The same goes for beautifully fabricated items made of Sheet alloy, Carbon Fiber or Unobtanium... It all becomes expensive junk when it gets the enevitable whack! Been there, and done all that! A Splitter Is A Disposable Item!
We have just released our New PCI Racing Splitter attachment Brackets. Remove or fit your Race Splitter in seconds and create all the downforce you want. I will post all the information on these new kits and our DC Integra JDM & US Spec AirDams and How to make your own relatively inexpensive but effective splitter blades on the TECHNICAL Page of http://www.specialprojectsms.com
I'm working on all of this stuff over the weekend and will have everything posted mid next week.
Sorry... No fluffy Dice or Shift ***** on the drawing board.

All will be revealed next week...
If you are not capable of making your own splitter after reading my article... I will be making some up to have in stock. These will be to our tried and proven Racing Spec. They extend 2.5" - 3" in front of the Special Projects JDM or US Spec AirDams.

I can't see any pics or info on how to make splitters yet. Nice article.

CPP can make you a splitter. They're top quality and if you break the splitter then most likely you've got bigger problems. It's very stiff and very light (<8lbs)
check out their web site. They only make race car parts. Not blinged out garbage.

Sorry guys, I finally got "Aerodynamics Part two" finished. It's up on my website now. http://www.specialprojectsms.com (Technical)
Once again... No offence to any of the Splitter/Airdam manufacturers. Some of you are producing some really cool stuff.
But It does not matter what it's made of... When it gets broken, it's just as broken if it cost you $900.00 or $90.00!
