Default FS: 97 Civic EX Turbo

I've had my new car for a few month now and I now realize that I don't need two cars, so one has to go. I'm selling my 97 Civc EX Coupe. I am the original owner. The car has 113k on the odometer and 23k on the rebuilt motor. The car is the stock Milano red and was repainted last year. The car has been completely debadged with a Mugen replica gill and Fiber Images carbon fiber hood and front lip. I can arrange delivery of this car or deliver it myself. Asking $8K

VIN avaliable upon request

I haven't ran the quarter with the car since the motor was built and the turbo was installed, daily I run 7psi and during spirited driving I run 10psi. On the butt dyno it feels just a tad slower than my STi. But I would definitely say the car is in the 13's, but still needs to be tuned.

Sorry, no AC. The downpipe is too damn big. It had to go.
Don't want another turbo honda anyway. One turbo is enough.

Hey Geoff....its Dustin, with the copper hatch. I will trade for sure if you can fix the vacum leak with the wastegate.....just because i don't think the car is going to be that reliable if it isnt fixed somehow. And for all the other people out there......this car is truely a machine and is awesome i actually drove it last weekend and it is insane (whoever gets this is getting it for a steal because $8k for all that is done is crazy). Well let me know Geoff because if you are willing i will be up sometime within the week to hand over the hatch....

It would really depend on what you had. Let me know and I'll consider it.

I plan on taking off the wastegate and taking a look. I've heard about problems with Deltagates and going to check if it is stuck shut. On the way home last weekend it was holding boost at 7psi, which is what the spring is but i'll check it anyway. Either way I'll get in contact with you and let you know what I find out.

Here is a link to some older pics. They were taken earlier this year before the intercooler was painted black and the Fiber Images front lip was installed. Also the tach is no longer in the car.

Yeah, it was holding at 7psi. But i'm still going to take the wastegate off and take a look.

Hey Geoff....sorry i didn't get around to calling...my phone was broken and was being worked on. Did you look at the wastegate and if you did, what was the problem and is it holding boost at both 7 and 10 psi now?

Right now it is holding boost. But as most people do and recommend to do is switch to a Tial. Which is what you should do as well. They are relatively cheap now. I have seen then for around 200-220 shipped.
