are they still .60/.48? would it work the same as the one I originally ordered? I can't find the intake housing AR, the exhaust is clearly labeled in one of the pics.

Bump... need some more opinions. This is going on a b16a with LoveFab SST manifold... Too small? Eventually I'm building a bottom end and upgrading the turbo, but for now I'm only looking for 220-250whp.

T3, super 60's were upgrades for for the mid 80's shelby dodge's. I hope it will work for your set up the way hondas are set up, could be backwards.

You can obviously tell by comparing the wastegae housing to the turbo in both pics...

the turbo you posted and the turbo on ebay are different turbos. Ebay is airreseach and one you got says nissan where ebay one says airresearch.

one thing's for sure.. you'll spool pretty quick , but will lack top end .. if i was you, I would demand a refund and complain since the product was misrepresented.... i would also get a t3t4 if you're looking for decent power from the getgo..

Yup that compressor looks like its off of an 85 or 86 300zx and it is .60 ar. I am running that same turbo as well. Yours however does not have the proprietary nissan 5 bolt exhaust housing that was a pain is the *** to work with. Should be a decent t3.

it does look smaller than a t3...

my guess is its the T25 ball bearing from an sr20det
or the 300zx t3

its not that bad of a turbo... you'll have more torque than HP probably (always something to brag about with a honda )

That is a T3 off a Nissan z31. its .63 turbine side. Its really not bad at all. I had it on my turbo auto integra and ran a best of 14.6 on it with a really shitty s-afc hack tune. The original turbine side on the turbo won't fit most t3 downpipe flanges. However, judging from the picture, it seems as if the previous owner has already changed the turbine side to the more standard t3. I had to do the same as well.

Edit: on second thought, it might not be a t3 off the nissan. I noticed that this is not water cooled. The turbo off the nissan is in fact water cooled. This may be a different turbo with just the nissan compressor side on.

probably he sells them in bulk and uses that auction picture as a "file photo"

irregardless of it saying airresearch or garrett or nissan on it, it's still a garrett T3 that much is certain. Being that it looks identical to the two 300zx "upgrade" T3's I've come across in the past it's exactly as described in the auction...

.48/.60 trim garrett T3, which is what you bid on. If you want to be a stickler about what it reads on the compressor housing then by all means send it to me and I'll gladly take it

It will run just fine on your car man, enjoy it and have fun. Probably the reason it says nissan on it is due to the guy's wholesaler might use nissan cores one month, saab cores the next, svo mustang cores the next...I only say this because the one in the auction picture has the compressor housing off a saab, while the T3 off an svo will say GARRETT across it.

I agree, just keep the turbo...I'm no turbo professional or anything but it appears as though you technically got what you ordered(or won in this case)
