I just got my entire OEM body kit today, it only took day nad a half since the dealer is about three hours from my place. I paid $364.71 painted & shipped to my front door. The (white) paint is a little bit differente but I can't complaint for the price. Can wait to get installed

quikrpm1, i just took some quick night time shots for you, they didnt come out too good.. but i hope it helps. Ill take more day-time pics tomorrow.

Wrath of VTEC, yeah it adds a very nice sport edge to the car kinda.. Now i have to decide... Type-R lip or no Type-R lip?

GSR2001, the sides cost 210$ shipped , they were the only part of the body kit that were available in black... was your kit repainted or was it made in white? i have to order a Type-R lip in white and get it repainted black (+125$ ). I dont really like the rear lips, I dont think ill bother ordering them.

the above picture looks better un-resized.. click here for it

i say u get the R front lip..

i bought my kit while a group buy was going on,,

it was 329$$ shipped allready milano red
,,i was suppost to get a 97 front lip,,but they sent me a 98-01 lip,,so i sold that for 140$$,,
i also modded the rear lips so they would fit my 96 rear bumper,,
i figured i saved about 250-350$$ there cuz i would of had to get a 98-01 rear bumper,,and get it painted

how come u dont like the rear lips??
i think it finishes the kit off nicely,,
to bad they dont make a rear lip for thr 94-97 tegs,,they would prob sell alot more kits if they did

also with my car being milano red,,i thought it wasnt gonna match to good,,cuz i have heard that the milano red fades over time
but it matches perfect
my teg sits in the garage about 5 days a week,,and gets drivin on the weekends,,
and gets waxed alot

good luck with the kit

now u just gotta drop the car,,and it will look much better

Default Just be careful.

There are two types of OEM lips for the Integra. There is one for the Type-R and one for GSR/GS/LS models. Both lips are the same thing, fit the same way, and are identical. The only difference is that you will pay more for the Type-R lip, and they come on Type-R colors. Don't get suckered into buying the Type-R lip.

2001 Integra GSR, i know what you mean.. when i say Type-R lip, i just prefer saying that over OEM Lip... considering i WILL be buying the Type-R lip but much cheaper (since its OEM for LS). its only costing me 90$ shipped.. but thanks for the warning

Wrath of VTEC, I think i made my decision to go for the Type R (/OEM) lip... I perfer the look of a real smooth rear bumper, and i think the rear lips destroy that... makes everything stick out kinda.. i dont really want to spend an extra $80 for something i dont really like, ya know? Milano Red is the ****!.. did you finish the kit with a 97 R lip yet? do you have any pics?... dropping her will be my next mod (after the type-R lip, and perhaps mugen pedals [what can i say? im addicted to groupbuys ])

thanks for your input guys.. i appreciate it

where can i see both these front lips that r available for the teg

i only knew of the R front lip

and where r u getting it for 90$$

if its 90$$ ill get it tonight

i know comptech sells the R lip for 229$$$

also
i have no pics of my car the way it is now

i do have some(crappy) pics of my teg with the sides on,,and the WW vented front lip,,,but i didnt have the rear lips on in the pic

http://albums.photopoint.com/j/Album...a=13418772&f=0

there r some pics of my civic too
like i said they r crappy pics
i gotta get some new pics up
cuz now i have my rear lips on,,my R rear spoiler
and its tinted all the way around

right now,,my exterior on my teg is done,,and the exterior of my 94 hatch is done

cuz i just traded my 01 GSR rims for some 16 inch kosei K-1 racing rims

and now im starting on my 90 civic SI hatch..to make it look good

both civics i want a swap on,,but i would also like a turbo on my teg

but i dont have any money trees in my back yard yet,,so ill see what i can save and go from there

Wrath of VTEC, Theres the Type-R front lip for 98-01, and the OEM Body Kit Lip for 98-01.. they are the EXACT same thing, however the Type-R lip is available in Type-R colors, and will cost you much more.

I'm getting the OEM Body Kit lip (i like to refer to it as the Type-R lip anyway) from Radley Acura, and the reason its so low is because i already bought the sides from them and they promised me a good deal on the front when and if i decide to get it.

Sweet teg, i remember seeing pics of it before... Actually those pics made me decide to get the sides, the way they blended so well with the rest of the car. .. Arent those 16" Racing Hart CP-035's? You should definately take some new pics of your car, i wanna see how the rear lips look along with the R spoiler and tint.. Best way to learn/decide is by example right?

Money doesnt grow on trees for me as well, i have to save $3000 for sequential twin turbo and custom piping by the end of July 2002. Meanwhile trying to do suspension and audio work after i finish my lip decision. Anyway, sweet car man.. where are you located?

Default Front lip.

Yes, there are two lips for the Integra that you can buy from Acura. Both have unique part numbers. Yet the two pieces are identical. The only difference between the two is the paint code, and price difference.

This is what I did. I went to the dealership, and asked for the OEM Underbody spoiler kit for my car. The guy behind the counter looked and saw that there were two unique parts/lips. He did some research for me and found that I would save money by getting the one that was cheaper because it was the identical piece for the Type-R, just different because of the paint code.

I thought about it and it made sense. Could you imagine two different machines making two different lips; one lip for the Type-R and one for the GSR/GS/LS. The bodies of the Type-R and the GSR/GS/LS are identical.

Don't bother buying the Type-R lip.

Wrath of VTEC, keep lookin for that lip.. you gotta be careful drivin with that WW lip right? thats something im concerned about considering the roads here arent the greatest, and im gonna drop her soon anyway. I've got a scanner, actually if you scroll all the way up, the first and third picture was a regular 35mm and then scanned. I'm a digital artist so photoshop is second nature to me, and color editing is easy . You can mail me the pics and ill do it free, email me XxAVDxX@aol.com.

hey AVD23, the type r lip and the oem lip are not the same lip with different paint codes, they are actually different... the type r lip does lift up at all in the middle unlike the oem lip... its just straight across and makes it hang lower than the oem lip....
