How much horsepower would i gain if i add an aftermarket exhaust with a turbo?

 

You need more flow with FI than the stock setup can provide...

 

If you boost at 6psi or less, the stock exhaust is ok, but 2.5" is better. If you boost higher than 6psi, you really need a 3" exhaust.

 

how about 3 inches all the way through with stock muffler?

 

That works. Alls u want changed is the piping. Im going to a 3" straight pipe from the exhaust manifold right to the muffler..i heard it gains like 15-20whp.

 

i think i just might end up going turbo myself.. but not soon.. maybe around new years or something.. if everything goes according to plans.. i should be getting a complete greddy kit for free w/gauges, a turbo timer

I dont plan on boosting more then 6lbs anyhow so i just have to get exhaust, and clutch and that should wrap it up.. i'm still unsure abou ecu management.. i'd like to get power fc since it plugs right up but might settle for hondata... i hope i get this paid for too.. i'll let you guys know in a few months or so

 

Get exhaust and a test pipe!!! You will gain HUGE amounts of power. Here is proof::
