Default F/I fuel pump.

after trying to get the proper fuel pump from summit i decided to try and get one elsewhere(the first one didn't work) where is a good place to get a fuel pump for my turbo'd car?i don't want to spent to much so i was thinking of the walbro (342? not sure on the modle i have it written down)i don't want to spend as much as i did on the first holly/walbro ($185). i'm only going to be boosting about 8psi and i will be lowering my fmu to an 8:1 with 270cc injectors.but i want something that will supply enough fuel for my 12:1 and 6-7psi.thanks again.also if you have the part # so i make sure i get the proper one that would be great.

This link has by far the best prices that I have found on the walbro units. Although I have never purchased one through them, others have, and I hear that he's a good guy.

I hope this helps, and let me know if you do decide to buy from him. I will be buying one soon for my backyard turbo set-up.

I got mine from him, he's a very cool guy. I picked up the 1st gen awd dsm model, $120 shipped. The holley I had did not have all the needed parts(isolator, wire harness and foam sleeve) so I took it back and got this one for $40 less.

I am doing a backyard low-budget custom job myself. So far I have a T3 from a Slaab 9000. DRAG3 manifold. Just bought my 1G DSM BOV today. Starion intercooler. Stainless feed line. Now just the charge piping, the downpipe, a FMU, fuel pump and all the required gaskets, hoses, etc. etc.

that is the same thing that i did. i pulled a t-3 off of a saab and bought a drag manifold. i had it on my sohc civic at first and it rocked but then i got a b16a2 and now it is on there.i have a greddy intercooler and a fmu also i have a set of RC270's but i'm not sure if i want to put them in.i bought a holly 255lph pump but it didn't work so i sent it back and now i'm just waiting for summit to refund my money.i'll be getting a pump from that guy because it is a lot cheaper then summit and plus they can't get the right pump.thanks for the site and good luck on your set-up.later
