Default Research of my LS/VTEC is done!

OK guys, after reading and reading of do's and don't of the LS/VTEC swap. I finally came down to what I wanted and what to get. So here is the current list of things to get. Please add more if you think I need more. Here goes:

1. CTR pistons. (should I get .25 overbore)?
2. Skunk 2 stage 2 cams
3. skunk 2 cam gears
4. ARP Rod bolts / 8mm
5. crane/crower valve springs and retainers?(which one)
6. ARP head bolts / main bolts
7. skunk 2 intake manifold
8. vtec oil pump
9. vtec water pump
10. vtec timing belt
11. ACL Main bearing kit ?
12. walbaro fuel pump ?
13. AEM fuel rail + FPR.

This is going to be a long project. So what do you guys think? Am I missing any thing? If this helps, I have a b16 head with 95 LS bottom. Thanks.

Shitcan the AEM FPR, they suck...Get Aeromotive or a B&M, stock Fuel Rail is fine.

and switch the crane valvetrain with skunk2...match your valvetrain with the cams.

Everything else looks on point for a strong basic setup. Don't forget a Hondata and your look at 190whp+.

Thanks! So skunk 2 valvetrain and B&M or aeromotive FPR. What about the pistons?

Oh, what about Injectors?

Stock injectors should be fine (upgrade or get prelude 270's if you like). I'd also spend a couple of buck & throw-in a blockguard just for good measure. They're cheap and help stabilize the upper end of your cylinders....can't hurt. Good luck!

I second the comment on the valvetrain, get Skunk2.
You might wanna look into a port and polish job on the head so it can flow better with those cams.

Remember about balancing the bottom end, shotpen LS rods.

Thats almost the exact same set up im getting ready to do, except I'm not sure what cams/valvetrain I want to go with. I'm also going to go .25 over with the pistons so I can make sure i have a good cylinder wall, it would suck to spend all the money building the motor and have it screw up because the cylinder is a little off.

depends... if you have extra money to bore it out
2. Skunk 2 stage 2 cams
3. skunk 2 cam gears
4. ARP Rod bolts / 8mm
5. crane/crower valve springs and retainers?(which one)
I'd go with crower.... a few people say go with skunk but I have heard nothing but poor qaulity with their valvetrain componets.... Crower springs are nice
6. ARP head bolts / main bolts
7. skunk 2 intake manifold'
why not ITR?..better IMHO..unless you want to run mostly all skunk2 items
8. vtec oil pump
9. vtec water pump
10. vtec timing belt

aem fuel rail is cool. not needed at all for you applications but nice to have as a bling accessory....get a B&M or aeromotive

well you could be missing a lot or missing nothing base on what hp goals your trying to achive.

I go with some aftermarket piston such as JE or Arias and stronger rods.

Trying to make this a drag car. Goals are high 12's. What do you think with that setup?

Basic bolt on's: AEM CAI/N1 w/ custom 2.5" piping/ haven't decided on what header yet. Any suggestions?
