lol.. yes it can. turbo gsr's can make over 300tq while using the stock tranny. it's the clutch setup that needs to be addressed.

come on now people.. get a clue.

What tranny do you have now? Did you to the S model + H22 swap? If your running an S tranny with a H22 you'll be slower than an Si so... Do the VTEC tranny! Besides GSR gears are pretty close to VTEC gears. bolth will be right aound 68mph at the top of second.

GS-R MPH VTEC MPH VTEC w/ Prodrive
3.230 039 3.307 039 3.307 036
1.900 066 1.950 067 1.950 060
1.360 093 1.360 096 1.360 086
1.034 122 1.071 121 1.071 110
0.787 160 0.870 149 0.870 135
4.400 ---- 4.266 ---- 4.714

Are they shorter? BARELY...only in 2-3 and by a couple mph,do your math next time.

You want shorter gears get a Prodrive final drive for the H22a tranny, wayyyy shorter and you don't have to do something silly like try to bolt a GS-R tranny to your h22a which has basically the same gears.

Actually, there is a company in the UK that can make a custom 6speed transmission. $15,000 dollars!, but it only comes as a cable setup.

this dude is obviously a tool for asking that.

final drives are nice but I don't like the crusing rpm in 5th, too high.
I'd like to get custom 1-3 gears.

you could always get 14" wheels (if they'd fit, but I doubt it) and some low profile tires. Thats a ghetto way of lowering your final drive.

14's won't clear the calipers. 15's will work.

get an h23 tranny with an accord 5th gear for highway...and a vtec controller so you don't fall out of vtec between shifts..

i can't even stand the 5th gear in an h23 tranny on the highway. i don't how you can stand a vtec tranny

The Accord Euro-R is what you're looking for really it has the short 2-3 (2.090, 1.481) and a long 5th (.812)

damn you joel ... you and your Euro R tranny think your sooo cool

i was confued, the title says longer gears, then the thread says shorter gears. .. i read somewhere about a guy making an adapter plate out of 1/4 inch steel and bolting a d series tranny to an F block. so i guess you could do the gsr thing if you want. but yeah you want an Euro R like EVERYONE else here
