I keep hearing that SI motors are no good when Boosted. I was told that the torque was weak. I keep hearing about SI's running 14's - 15's with 8-10psi. Can anyone tell me different or same?

I am lookin' for a motor right now and I plan on boostin' it. Found a good deal on SI. Should I do it is the question.

I've already posted this in the Forced Induction, but I figured I could try here too.

 

See sig. 9 psi torque is flat at 185 ft lbs. 230 Hp.

 

200whp, 140 trq @ 10psi via JRSC. I ran a mid 14, but I suck at drag racing. I prefer to dodge cones myself.
