Just put down 5000+ miles on my EP (pictures and thoughts)
I took a 5000 mile round trip road trip out to the Western half of US this past week with my new EP.
For anybody that is thinking about buying one, let me give you my thoughts on my road trip.
Engine - I had never downshifted to pass anybody on the highway. The car has alot of torque and power, and mates perfect with the tranny (in my opinion). I did downshift however, when I had to go up a really steep mountain.
Suspension - Has great suspension, I would have to say it has more oversteer than the previous EK/EG/DC chassis. The Michelin tires play a huge role on how quiet the car is during the highway.

Interior - The seats work great especially during spirited driving. However, for a long trip they could be a pain. They do not offer much change in position, so if you are trying to sleep in these seats, it will not be very comfortable. You are better off climbing in the back seat. The cupholders work great too. It comes with a total of 4. I frequently used the one near the airvent.
To put it in a nutshell, the car offers a great package in stock form.
Here are some pictures taken in California and I-80 in Wyoming, Nevada, and Utah.

Those are some great pics. I have been out west a couple of times and would love to go back. I would hit the front of the car with some Bug be gone cause that is just gross. I also liked your mini car review

I went on the SAME exact road trip as you Migs just a month ago. I went from West to East and back to West on I-80. I took some pics w/ my digi-cam as well and they look exactly like yours. Did you see any thunderstorms? I saw some crazy thunder on my way back.
awesome! thanks for sharing some good info on a great car. I know what you mean about the torque; glad Honda finally figured it into the equasion.

Joker, Im really bummed too. I originally planned to see alot of old time friends from HT but only got to see a pair of them (unplanned). My schedule did not worked as planned but most importantly it still ended up as a vacation for me.
Type-Rizzle, I got to see some thunderstorms on I-80 in Nevada towards Reno. Some of the pictures above were taken around Winnemuca, NV. Hey, how did you like the downhill/uphill drive as you merge from Utah to Wyoming? I thought that was fun. No cops at all!! I went from East to West so the entire Continentental Divide was in my favor going downhill!
