You have to remove the air vents to access some of the screws. You also have one behind the dimmer switch. Be careful prying on it when you take it out. Best to get it hot by either leaving it out in the sun with the windows up or use a hair dryer to get it hot. Pry easy ... it will break very easy.

you'll also need to remove teh stereo, ash tray, tray to the left of steering wheel, vents, all climate control buttons. its really a PITA. then, when you get all that off, theres another 4 screws holding the gauge cluster in. then theres 3 plugs that are easy to get off, but a pain to get back on the gauge cluster.

did i mention its a pain in the ***?

btw: it me over 2 hours to take it all out, and put some reverse indiglo's on mine, then put it back in. so leave urself some time.

AND BE PATIENT!!!

it's hardly worth it, but ya, basically there is a screw behind everything in the dash to get it off. Good luck,

Nathan

there is one screw behind each of the 3 vents
one behind tray near door
2 above gauges
2 above radio
1 behind the 3 button things that you have to pop out
2 at the bottom of trim under ashtray and behind cigarette lighter

13 screws in all not including the fact you have to remove the radio
i got eurolite blue carbon fiber gauges took me 5 hours to put it all together and iv taken it apart 4 times sense then. iv got it down to where i can strip it in 10 minutes now also if you remove the top of the steering column cover its a lot easier to remove the trim

good luck on removing that top plug on the gauges its a bitch along with the bottom right one

why would you what to remove anything from the ac controls you don't need to touch any of that there are just 2 screws that hold the trim on right under the piece that goes between the ac and stereo
